2020 was, to put it lightly, a damn doozy of a year. There were some ups and lots of downs that we had to learn to navigate during this year that seriously had us on our toes. Although the new year's celebration is going to look v different than usual (more masks, less clubbing,) we all still deserve to celebrate making it through 2020.

And while things have changed a tad this year, there's a lot that's still the same. I, for one, still want to buy something sparkly for NYE that I'll never wear again. I also want to think very hard about setting some new goals and intentions for 2021, but then eventually admitting to myself that no, I'm just not a morning person!! And one thing that will simply never change is the desire to look at some inspiring quotes to rid the negative energy of the past and bring all those positive vibes into the new year. Like I always say, #newyearnewme, bb.

As 2021 finally comes to a close, here are a bunch of New Year’s quotes (and caption ideas, hi) to inspire you to get that promotion, get rid of those toxic people in your life, actually hang up your clothes that have been piling in your room on The Chair, and start 2021 off on the right note. Are you ready to start thriving?
